Services
What we do, and what it costs.
Three things, in the order you'll meet them. One rate under all of them, and every account in your name.
01 Build
The site.
A draft first: your home page plus one more, built from your real content after a short conversation. You decide with the work in front of you.
Keep it, and the code and design are yours. The rest of the site is then built the same way, one round at a time: one list of changes from the one person who can say yes, an estimate in hours before each round, about a week each, as many as are useful. Launch when you say it's ready.
A single page or a dozen is a question of scope, not a different product. The draft is the same either way; the difference shows up in the rounds.
Note Every site comes mobile-first, fast, with the search basics done, a contact form that works and real accessibility. What every project includes →
02 Connect
What the site talks to.
Most small businesses already run on something: a booking tool, an ordering platform, a point of sale. The site should read as one thing with it.
We ask in the first conversation. If you already use it, we connect it, usually an embed or a link and under an hour. If you don't have it yet, we recommend one, set it up in your name and bill the setup time; the subscription is yours. If it's more than this engagement should carry, we say so before a price, not after the draft.
- Bookings
- The scheduler you use, built into the site.
- Ordering and reservations
- Your platform's widget, on your pages.
- A shop
- Checkout through your own Stripe account.
- Content you edit
- A managed WordPress editor; the site stays static for visitors.
- Leads
- Inquiries into a pipeline in your name. The free tier of a good CRM is usually plenty.
03 Keep
After launch.
Live, in your name, documented. From there it's up to you, and you can change your mind later.
Hand off, and any developer can pick it up from the documentation; the code and every account were already yours. Or keep us on: new pages, changes and additions as the business needs them, at the same rate, by the round, with a monthly statement of hours used and work done.
Either way, for thirty days after launch anything that worked on launch day and stopped, we fix at no charge. Ongoing clients also get uptime monitoring with us alerted, and framework updates done as a small round when they're due.
The rate
$150 an hour, and that's the whole price list.
You see the hours before each round and prepay them in a block you size. The estimate is ours to keep to.
- Hourly rate
- $150 an hour
- The same rate for everything after the draft. Reviewed each January; billed in half-hour increments.
- Hours
- Blocks you size
- Prepaid before each round, 2-hour minimum. Honoured at the purchase rate for 12 months. Unused hours refunded.
- Stopping
- Any round either side
- Anything paid for is yours. Accounts are already in your name, so nothing needs transferring.
Ownership
You hold the keys.
Every account the site depends on is opened in your name and you pay each vendor directly: domain, hosting, the form service, analytics, and a content editor or CRM if you have one. We set them up, document them and hand you the logins. Where it helps, you add us as a collaborator, and you can remove us at any time; the site keeps running. Nothing we build depends on us.
Tell us about your business.
We'll show you something you can click on before you decide anything.
